This blog includes almost daily made art including faces, pop art, design, primitive motifs, digital works, humorous commentary, and my specialty quirky, whimsical art. I like to do fun-filled and novel looks, sometimes cartoons and not the usual fare. I strive to be original. Most of all I love to play with color!

29 Faces #10 From Sketch to Painting - "Jessica's Face"
Caryn, thanks for your comment on my "maori man". I am going to leave him as is since its for 29faces and I want to move on (keeping it in perspective, right?) BUT! I am going to redo him as a portrait in my sketchbook using the ideas and suggestions I've received. Not sure WHEN but I'll post him whenever it happens!
As I said in my comment we all have opinions and ultimately, no matter the input, the artist herself makes the determination about the approach! I think it's a great subject to capture--I love the Maori art to begin with and that tattoo is really something special!Hope to get to see it when you do it again. Thanks for stopping by.
Amazing face sketch. Do you sketch first and then work on it digitally?
ReplyDeleteYes, that's what I usually do. Thank you for your nice comments.
