This blog includes almost daily made art including faces, pop art, design, primitive motifs, digital works, humorous commentary, and my specialty quirky, whimsical art. I like to do fun-filled and novel looks, sometimes cartoons and not the usual fare. I strive to be original. Most of all I love to play with color!

This is the unknown (until now) French model for the Statue of Liberty. Her name: Margot, Helene, Colette, Aimee, Isabelle Valentine Vern...

ReplyDeleteYes, that's what I usually do. Thank you for your nice comments.
DeleteBeautiful! You have a very unique style, love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Veronica!! <3
ReplyDeleteCaryn, thanks for your comment on my "maori man". I am going to leave him as is since its for 29faces and I want to move on (keeping it in perspective, right?) BUT! I am going to redo him as a portrait in my sketchbook using the ideas and suggestions I've received. Not sure WHEN but I'll post him whenever it happens!
ReplyDeleteAs I said in my comment we all have opinions and ultimately, no matter the input, the artist herself makes the determination about the approach! I think it's a great subject to capture--I love the Maori art to begin with and that tattoo is really something special!Hope to get to see it when you do it again. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteGreat sketch - the eyes are so expressive!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michellem!
